Annual fundraiser benefiting four Hackensack Meridian Health programs will be held September 28, 2026 at Ridgewood Country Club
PARAMUS, NJ / ACCESS Newswire / August 11, 2026 / The Town Title Foundation® is proud to announce its 11th Annual Golf Outing, to be held Monday, September 28, 2026, at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J. The event will begin with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start and will bring together business leaders, community members and healthcare advocates for a day of golf and philanthropy.
All net proceeds from the outing will benefit four exceptional Hackensack Meridian Health programs: Tackle Kids Cancer at the Children's Cancer Institute at Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital; the Inserra Diabetes Research Institute at Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital; the Caryl and Jim Kourgelis Foundation for Behavioral Health at Hackensack Meridian Carrier Clinic; and the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack Meridian Health.
As one of Tackle Kids Cancer's first corporate partners, Town Title has helped the program expand its research and clinical services through the support generated by past golf outings. Last year, we simultaneously celebrated our 10th Annual Golf Outing, with Tackle Kids Cancer's 10th Anniversary of its Founding with Eli Manning, who has been a driving force for the Program. Future contributions will help support Tackle Kids Cancer's two laboratory research programs at the Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery and Innovation, more than 100 clinical trials for pediatric patients, and developing programs in solid tumors and gene therapy.
The Inserra Diabetes Research Institute funds research focused on finding a cure for diabetes while supporting the pediatric diabetes program at Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital. Serving more than 600 pediatric patients with Type 1 diabetes, the program provides vital services including telehealth education and consultations, nutrition support, and educational and psychological care.
Proceeds will also help advance Retreat and Recovery at Ramapo Valley, a Hackensack Meridian Carrier Clinic initiative supported by the vision and generosity of Caryl and Jimmy Kourgelis. The program is expanding substance use disorder treatment in northern New Jersey, including plans for a 48-bed inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation facility. Funding will support capital costs associated with developing this needed resource for patients and families close to home.
The outing will also support the John Theurer Cancer Center and its work to transform cancer care. Through its collaboration with the NCI-designated Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University, the center advances research that helps develop new therapies, deepen understanding of cancer, and improve patient outcomes.
"Each year, this outing reflects the power of our community to create meaningful change," said Christopher Rotio. "We are honored to continue supporting these extraordinary programs and the patients and families who depend on them."
