Source Support Services Appoints Jim Kirby as Chief Executive Officer

Veteran Technology and Services Executive Brings Decades of Experience to Lead Company’s Next Phase of Growth

Source Support Services, a global leader in enterprise support and services for OEM technology providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Kirby as its new Chief Executive Officer and member of its Board of Directors. With more than 30 years of leadership experience across the technology, managed services, and industrial automation sectors, Kirby brings a proven track record of building high-growth businesses, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Kirby succeeds Mike Stolz, who recently announced his retirement after a decade of dedicated leadership and successfully oversaw Source Support’s expansion into the global medical OEM market. To support a smooth transition, Stolz will continue to serve as a strategic advisor and remain on the Board of Directors.

Jim Kirby joins Source Support from Ricoh Americas, where he served as Vice President of Service Advantage. He has had a dynamic career as an executive in sales, marketing, service operations, and general management across the technology and services industries. He has created long-term value for industry leaders, such as Honeywell, HP and Ricoh and has accelerated growth for emerging companies.

“As we look to the future, we are excited to welcome Jim Kirby as CEO,” said Jack Vander Leeuw, Managing Director at Capitala Group and Source Support board member. “Jim’s deep expertise and operational leadership in technology and service make him the ideal leader to guide Source Support into its next chapter. The board is confident that under his leadership, the company will continue to grow its presence and impact across existing markets while strategically expanding into new areas of opportunity.”

“I’m honored to lead Source Support into its next chapter,” said Jim Kirby. “The company’s legacy of service excellence, powered by its Source Central platform and Source Techworks workforce, is unmatched.

Kirby continued, “As AI, cloud computing, high-performance computing and the surging demand for data center infrastructure continue to transform industries, Source Support is uniquely positioned to deliver the agility, expertise, and innovation that OEMs and their customers require. I look forward to building on the foundation Source Support has established to scale our impact across the Information Technologies, Life Sciences, and Industrial Automation markets.”
