More than 1,000 New Yorkers joined Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY) for its Together in Gold: Annual Gala to honor eight-year-old Ayda following her battle with a neuroblastoma tumor and the thousands of other patients the organization has served since its inception more than 45 years ago. The Gala – which was held on Tuesday, September 30 at Cipriani Wall Street – commemorated Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the “Go Gold” campaign while raising over $2.7 million to further RMH-NY’s mission to advance health equity and provide care, support and services to families battling pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses.

Eight-year-old Emanuel, a cancer warrior and amputee, was honored by his hockey coaches, mentors, teammates and New York Rangers greats for his remarkable courage during Ronald McDonald House New York’s (RMH-NY) 31st Annual Skate with the Greats on April 3. New York Rangers legends and hundreds of New Yorkers came together at the Lighthouse & Sky Rink at Pier 61, Chelsea Piers, to recognize Emanuel while supporting RMH-NY and the many families the organization serves who are battling pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses.
Ronald McDonald House New York Awarded $1.05 Million Grant from the RBC Foundation USA
Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY) today announced it has been awarded a $1.05 million grant from the RBC Foundation USA to accelerate RMH-NY's Health Equity Program: Supporting Vulnerable NYC Children & Families. With RBC Foundation USA’s support, 35,000 services will be provided to 15,000 medically-complex children and families at RMH-NY’s 95-room House on East 73rd Street, at the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in hospitals, and through Hospital Outreach initiatives with 22 partner hospitals.
